About His Holiness Sri Krishna Desika Jeeyar Swamy
His Holiness Sri Krishna Desika Jeeyar Swamy was born in a
small village near Nellore, Andhra Pradesh in 1950.
Sri. Venkat Kanumalla Swamy, prior to undertaking
Sanyasahrnama Dharma, was an experimental Nuclear
Physicsist engaged in treating cancer patients for the past
30 years. By the command of his Acharya HH 44th Jeeyar of
Sri Ahobhila Mutt, and Divya Dampathi’s blessing Sri.
Venkat Kanumalla Swamy constructed a beautiful temple
for Lord Sri Ranganatha at Pomona New York- an image of
the “Bhooloka Vaikuntum- SriRangam” for those of us who
cannot visit SriRangam as often. HH renounced material
life and taken up Sanyasa-Ashrama on Nov 24th 2014. HH
is an erudite scholar and teacher. He is very passionate
about spreading Saranagathi, Absolute Surrender to Lord
Sri Krishna, for the Salvation of all souls.
