Dear Sir/Madam,
I am sending you information about Slovene language course at the Jožef Stefan Institute in
the academic year 2014/2015.
Teachers:
Two teachers will be teaching at the course in the new academic year: Špela Bradeško and
Petra Likar Stanovnik. We both have a lot of experience in teaching, especially in teaching
Slovene as a second/foreign language.
Duration:
The course will take place in classrooms at the Jožef Stefan Institute, and will be adapted to
candidates’ schedules as much as possible.
Course will take place from October 2014 to June 2015: 1st semester from October 2014 to
January 2015 and 2nd semester from the end of February to June 2015.
Types:
Course will be organized for all levels of candidates’ knowledge (beginner, intermediate or
advanced course), and will be adapted to their needs and desires as much as possible.
Prices:
Course fees remain unchanged:
12 EUR per hour for an individual course of Slovene,
8 EUR per hour for a course in a group with two students,
6 EUR per hour for a course in a group with three students and
5 EUR per hour for a course in a group with more students.
All prices are for one academic hour (45 minutes) and do not include the costs of the
textbook and/or workbook.
Specialized textbooks and workbooks for learning Slovene as a second/foreign language will
be used at the course. Their prices depend on the level of candidates’ knowledge and range
from 30 to 50 EUR (according to the price list of the Faculty of Arts’ Bookstore).
Applications:
Application for the course is available on the website www.pelista.si/ijs. Applications for the
second semester will be collected until 8th February. I will send an offer with the final price
of the course to the appropriate secretariat by 15th February.
