 Are you interested in being an Aide for the Adaptive PE class? Applications are
available in the Athletic Office and are due February 13th. See Mrs. Watson if you have
any questions.
 Attention sophomores and juniors interested in taking Journalism 2 honors! If you
want to become a section or photo editor for Devils’ Advocate magazine, or online staff
writer, photographer or videographer for Devils’ Advocate website, please stop outside of
room 249 to take an application and sign up for an interview. Applications are due
Friday, January 30th.
 Future Educators Club will be selling puppy chow in the morning and after school
today and tomorrow in front of the cafeteria for $1. Please plan to bring cash and stop by
for some delicious puppy chow to support your Future Educators!
 Come cheer on the Special Olympics Basketball Team at their PACK THE PLACE this
Saturday at noon in the gym. It is Darius and Maggie’s last game at Central so we want
to get as many people to come support them as possible.
 Key Clubbers- please attend our weekly meeting tomorrow at 7:30 in the auditorium.
We have many new volunteer opportunities coming up.
 Attention, all Reading Marathon participants! The next Reading Marathon “aid
station” will be a Sweet Stop! Join us in the Library Reading Lounge for sweet treats on
Friday, Feb. 13 during all lunches. Bring your own lunch, talk books with fellow
Marathon participants, and enjoy sweets provided by the HC PTO.
Character Counts: Always end the day with a positive thought. No matter how hard things
were tomorrow’s a fresh opportunity to make it better.
