Courses and special sessions:
Baby Massage 5 week course This will run for five weeks from Wednesday 14th January— 10-11.30am at St Marys Church Hall, Frensham GU10
3EA. Please call for more details and to book your place.
Chatterbox A four week course aimed at 2.5—4 year olds focused on the
development of your child’s speaking and listening skills. Monday afternoons from the 2nd February 2015 2—2.45pm at Elstead & Villages Children's Centre, St James Primary School. Booking is required.
Tiny Talk
A six week signing course run by sign language experts. To
start on Wednesday 4th March 10.15—11.15am at Elstead and Villages Children’s Centre, St James Primary School. Booking is required.
First Aid Course A two hour first aid course focused on babies and children up to 5 years. To be held on Wednesday 18th March 7.30—9.30pm at
the Indigo Café, Lower Bourne GU10 3PX. Booking is required.

Drop in Session with the Health Visitor The Health Visitor comes to
the baby Play & Learn group on the first Monday of the month to have an
informal chat with mums and offer advice/support.

Special Needs Play & Learn
This is a small group supporting parent
and child learning. Drop in sessions held at Potters Gate Children’s Centre
monthly, call 01252 891250 for the next date.
Internet Access and Support This session which will run at Wrecclesham
Community Centre on the last Wednesday of the month 12-2pm where you
can use the internet for free and get advice on finding a job, bidding for
homes and sorting issues that may be affecting your family life. Please call
the centre on 01252 706915 to make an appointment.
ADHD Support Group:
SPOOKS (supporting parents of one off kids)
Held every 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm in Elstead, please see
the website EVSSCC.org.uk for further information or call the centre.
Run by parents for parents, this group is offering real support to anyone

The aim of the children’s centre is to improve: child development and school readiness;
child and family health and life chances; parenting aspirations and parenting skills.
Monday
Wednesday (Activities at the Wrecclesham Community Centre,
(all activities at the Children's Centre, Elstead):

9.30—10.30 Toddler Play and Learn
1.00—2.30 Play and Learn run in partnership with Potters Gate Children’s Centre
11.00—12.00 Baby Play and Learn (pre-walkers) with a Health Visitor
drop-in session on the first Monday of each month. This is an informal
session where you can ask questions and share experiences regarding your
children eg. sleep issues, weaning etc.
Both of the above sessions are drop in interactive messy play sessions.
Come along and explore new and exciting ways to play and get some great
tips on what to do at home. No booking required, but children must be
accompanied by an adult at all times.
All our Play and Learn sessions are run by our Outreach Worker, but we always welcome volunteers to help.

Advice, Information and Guidance available on any issues regarding your
under 5’s and your family life. From finding a new job to coping with the
stresses of parenting to checking you are getting all the help you need.
Drop in and have a chat with Helen Owen our Advice, Information and
Guidance Officer. No appointment necessary.
Drop in interactive messy play session for children aged 0—5. Come along
and explore new and exciting ways to play and get some great tips on what

A mum to mum support group where you can meet other new mums, make
friends and become involved in your community. Helen our Advice, Information and Guidance Officer will be there to answer any questions about
raising a young family. .
