Annual General Meeting
With worship and lunch.

calendars. We need your wisdom.
Parents with children are
encouraged to come, as childcare
will be provided.
UPCOMING SERVICES
February 15th - New Members Sunday We will be
welcoming new members and celebrating our community’s
life together. If you are interested in learning more about
church membership, becoming a member, or transferring your
membership at this time please speak with Rev. Alexa.
February 18th - Ash Wednesday. Rev. Alexa and others
from the ecumenical ministry in Bloor West will be offering
the ritual of ashes at Runnymede Subway station during the
morning rush hour.
March 1st – Annual General Meeting and integrated
Worship with Working Lunch. A time for building our
community together. Parents with children encouraged to
come. Childcare will be provided.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Taizé Services for Lent - You are warmly invited to a time
of prayer, meditation, and stillness in the Taizé tradition
during the season of Lent. Beginning on Sunday February
22, 2015 through Sunday March 29, 2015 from 10:05 am to
10:20 am, we will meet in the choir pews for this reflective
time which is offered to deepen our Lenten journey as we
walk with Christ to the cross.
Children’s Drama Class- Windermere
United - Ages 6 – 12 Windermere United
Church is pleased to announce a drama
program for ages 6 – 12. The weekly class
will commence on Wednesday, February
4 and run from 5:15 – 6:15pm every Wednesday until June
at Windermere United Church. Participants will explore
storytelling through music, text and movement. The class
project will be a musical version of “The Three Little Pigs”,
which will be presented at the end of the session in June.
There is no fee for the class. Brian Stevens will be the
instructor. For information and registration, please contact the

LOVE! A Winter Jazz Vespers Sunday, February 8 at 7:00
pm. You are invited to join recording artists Bill MacLean,
Barbara Grenier and Brian Stevens as they celebrate love in
song on Sunday, February 8th at 7:00pm. LOVE! A Winter
Jazz Vespers will feature solos and duets sung by Bill and
Barbara with Brian Stevens on piano. The evening will also
feature a wine bar. LOVE! A Winter Jazz Vespers is a “pay
what you can” event sponsored by Dentistry on Dupont.

Pusuma Sanctuary Debrief – Monday, February 9th from
7-9 pm. So much has happened to us as a result of our
decision to offer sanctuary to the Pusuma family. This
conversation will be a chance to discuss what all of this has
meant for us as individuals and community.
Pancake Supper – In
celebration of Shrove Tuesday,
We’ll do the cooking and the
dishes! You can bring your
family and enjoy a night with
friends. Tuesday, February
17th from 5:30pm -7pm. Cost
$7 for adults,$4 for child , $20
for family. Gluten free supper
available as well. Tickets
through the office or at the door.
Messy Church - On
Wednesday, February 25,
Windermere United Church
will be hosting a “Messy
Church” event from 5:30 –
7:00pm. Please join us as we
explore the theme of Love.
Messy Church is an all ages
event for you and your family. It is a time of crafts, activities,
music, biblical storytelling and dinner. Arrive when you can,
relax and enjoy. For information call 416-769-5611.

Lectio Devina – every Friday from 10am – 12
noon, in the parlour. A time of meditative
reflection on scripture followed by a light soup
lunch. Everyone welcome!
East meets West Yoga classes – a fourweek healing journey that includes scripture,
poetry, and restorative yoga for body and
soul. Tuesday mornings, 9:30-10:45 am
starting January 27. Suggested donation $10
per class. Drop in for any of the remaining
classes (Feb. 10, 17th).
