TECHNOLOGY (SBMCET) was promoted in
the year 2009 by SRI BAPPAMMAL MEMORIAL
TRUST under the dynamic chairmanship of a great
visionary Ln. Dr. N. JAY ARAJ,MJF.,D.Lit., Ph.d.,
D.HONS by actions with a resolve to serve the
society by providing quality education. The college
is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna
University Chennai. Our institute offers 5 UG
programs (MECH,CIVIL,ECE,EEE and CSE)
and 7 UG programs (Engg.Design,Ther.Engg,
Stru.Engg,App.Elec,VLSI,Power

and Comp.Science)in Engineering and Technology.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering which was started in the year 2009
offers a UG programme B.E in Electronics and
Communication Engineering and started PG
programmes M.E in Appiled Electronics in the
year 2012 and ME VLSI Design in the year 2013.
The Department has a team of commited Faculty
members who are not only well qualified but
also backed by Rich Industrial/ Research /Teaching
Experience. The department has all essential Lab
equipments.Our department has total faculty
Strength of 26 and all are PG qualified.Out of 26
faculties,two Faculties have completed P.hD
and Four faculties are pursuing.Faculities and
students are motivated to attend various
conferences, workshops and seminars to update
their Knowledge.The main aim of our department
is to bring component Technocrats and we are
regularly giving placement training for all eligible
students.
SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
The purpose of organizing this conference
is to bring all the Researchers,Engineers,Faculty
members Students and industry persons on to a
common platform to share their research work in
information,communication,networking and signal
processing,communication and networks technologies
including mobile broadband and all optical networks
which are the future technologies.
