Retrofit procedure
1. Disconnect all push-on connectors from limit switch pack noting location of each wire for
reassembly.
2. Remove M3 screw at base of switch pack.
3. Remove O-ring from top of camshaft and remove circlip if fitted.
4. Lift switch assembly from camshaft taking care not to damage switch operating levers.
5. Fit 2 or 4 additional cams to camshaft orientated as shown in diagram.
6. Fit new switch pack assembly over camshaft taking care not to bend the switch operating
levers and locating the moulded pins (on the baseplate of the switchpack) in the location holes
in the switchplate, secure using the M3 screw.
7. Rewire in accordance with appropriate wiring diagram.
8. Replace O-ring and circlip to camshaft.

Cam setting procedure
1. Operate actuator to closed position (open
position for F777/778-150)
2. Turn cam 1 clockwise until it just operates
switch 1 and secure to camshaft using M4
grubscrews in cam.
3. Turn cam 3 clockwise until it just operates
switch 3. Turn cam 3 a further 2 to 3
degrees clockwise and secure to camshaft
4. Operate actuator to open position (closed
position for F777/778-150).
5. Turn cam 2 anti-clockwise until it just
operates switch 2 and secure to camshaft.
6. Turn cam 4 anti-clockwise until it just
operates switch 4. Turn cam 4 a further 2 or
3 degrees anti-clockwise and secure to
camshaft.
7. Adjust cams 5,6,7,8, by operating actuator
to desired switch operating position. Turn
appropriate cam until switch operates and
secure to camshaft. Cams 5, 7 operate the
switches in a clockwise direction. Cams 6.8
operate the switches in a anti-clockwise
direction.

Retrofit procedure
1 Remove O-ring and circlip (if fitted) from top of
camshaft.
2. Fit potentiometer assembly over camshaft with
gears upwards.
3. Fit spacing pillars between upper switch
bracket and potentiometer bracket, using M3
screws through the brackets and spacers and
M3 nuts located in the hexagon recesses on
the underside of the upperswitch bracket.
4. Fit potentiometer drive gear over the camshaft
to mesh with the potentiometer pinion. For dual
potentiometers, first turn both potentiometer
shafts fully clockwise to ensure that they both
operate in phase.
5. Set potentiometer’by operating actuator to fully
closed position, turning potentiometer drive
gear fully clockwise until mechanical stop is felt,
backing drive gear approximately 1/2 tooth,
and tightening M4 socket set screw to secure
drive gear to camshaft.
6. Refit O-ring and circlip to camshaft.

Note
For reverse acting output i.e. 20mA close and
4mA open, simply reverse the position of the
two potentiometer leads on the
retransmission terminal block -orange/black
to white/red position and vice versa.
1. Remove two central M3 fixing screws on
top of the limit switch assembly.
2. Locate retransmission module sub
assembly over same two holes with
terminal block to bottom.
3. Re-fit M3 fixing screws.
4. Fit 5K potentiometer.•
5. Connect potentiometer wiring to
retransmission module as per diagram
overleaf.
6. Connect red and blue single wiring,
supplied in kit, from retransmission module
to terminals 21 & 22 on main terminal
block.
• See potentiometer retrofit procedure for
fitting & setting.)
Retrofit Procedure for Hard Wired electric actuators
1. Slacken grub screw on potentiometer drive gear.
2 Remove three M3 fixing screws from potentiometer mounting plate.
3. Move gear/potentiometer assembly upwards on shaft as far as possible to allow access to
limit switch mounting plate.
4 Remove two central M3 fixing screws on top of the limit switch assembly.
5. Locate retransmission module sub assembly over same two holes with terminal block to
bottom.
6. Re-fit M3 fixing screws.
7. Fit new 5K potentiometer (no.2) thro’ spare hole on existing plate and fit gear/washers etc.
similar build to pot (no.1).*
8. Lower potentiometer assembly and gear down on top of three hex pillars and re-fit M3 fixing
screws.
9. Connect potentiometer wiring to retransmission module as per diagram overleaf.
10. Connect red and blue wiring with molex plug, supplied with kit, to socket behind customer
terminal block.
