warranty shipping sla change, effective feb. 15
All Prepaid brands will be modifying the Warranty shipping SLA from overnight shipping to 2-day
shipping. With this change customers will have an option to pay $12 for overnight delivery.
Warranty orders will be processed automatically with a default 2-day delivery SLA. Customer Care
will advise customers of their estimated SLA when the order is processed and other details are
communicated.

Dealer Talk - $3 Convenience fee
Boost Mobile Dealer Queue agents report receiving calls from Dealers; the Dealer then hands the
phone to the customer so that the Care agent can explain the reason for the $3 Convenience fee.
Don’t be that Dealer!
In addition to sending out marketing and advertising materials with language disclosing the fee, all
impacted Dealers have been provided with “tent cards”. The tent card contains details about the
service convenience fee, as well as information about other replenishment options available to avoid
paying the fee. Dealers are required to display the tent card at point-of-sale locations where RTR/PIN
transactions occur in a manner easily seen by customers. For more information visit the

SPG: samsung galaxy s5 maintenance release
This major update provides an upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S5 OS to Android 5.0
(Lollipop).
How will it impact customers?
Download time in the background will take 3-5 minutes, depending on the network.
Customers can use their device when they are downloading the application. The actual
time to install the download takes about – 3-5 minutes. When the customer installs the
downloaded maintenance release, they will not be able to use their device until the install
has completed.
Customers will be reminded prior to installing the maintenance release with a message
stating “Your device will be out of service while installing the download.”
Install Firmware Update Available: A new version is ready to install (1.4MB) Warning: This
device cannot make a receive calls, including emergency calls during the update and the
device will reboot.
