A Site Chief, Surgery is sought for the Etobicoke General Hospital site of Osler. Collaborating with the
Corporate Chief, Surgery, the Site Chief will develop the policies, procedures and regulations of the
department, including organizing and implementing a quality assurance program, while actively fostering
internal relationships with other departments across the organization. A genuine team player, the Site Chief
will champion the advancement of the Department in relation to Osler’s strategic plan, mission, vision and
values. Possessing outstanding communication skills, the Site Chief will lead by example with integrity,
honesty and transparency. This position would start April 1, 2015.
The successful candidate must have a license to practice in Ontario and hold a Fellowship in Surgery from
the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
