SUMMARY
Ensure constant inventory flow in shipping and receiving by performing relief jobs in manufacturing or distribution facility in a safe and productive
manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs a wide variety of jobs and duties as assigned, with a high level of proficiency and accuracy;
Performs quality/accuracy checks on outbound trucks and pulled orders;
Assists in preparing orders for shipment;
Performs inventory cycle counts;
Periodically operates a forklift;
Keeps equipment and work area clean;
Performs as a relief operator on other jobs as needed;
Performs scheduled inspections on equipment and prepares reports as required for management and maintenance personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a current forklift operator’s license, or have the ability to obtain a forklift operator’s license or be able to provide proof that he or
she had possessed a forklift operator’s license previously. Must maintain and carry a valid California driver license and remain eligible and
capable of operating company vehicles in accordance with company policy guidelines.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years related experience. Must have the ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to apply basic math concepts and
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential
functions of this position.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is
frequently required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch,
or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this position include close, distance, color, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.
COMPUTER SKILLS
A person in this position must have basic keyboarding skills.
