Sponsor
Appeal
Monday,
23rd
February 2015 This year the Appeal is
“Speak up: Speak out” and is going to
help a very worthwhile cause. Bullying is
endemic in Trinidad and Tobago from the
top level down. Following on the success
of last year’s event, the Boys will be
having “A GAMES MARATHON” during
the normal Section night on 23rd
February. We hope this will appeal to
you and if you wish to contribute sponsor
sheets are available at the back of the
Church. Thank you for your interest and
support.Mrs V Dunn
Officer-in-charge
Christian Aid Scotland is again running
a paper quiz. Copies are at the back of
the church with a suggested donation of
£1.
Lent Services will continue on Saturday
28th February at 9.30am and finish at
10.00am. Holy Week passes by so
quickly that often we do not have the
time to reflect deeply on what it means.
Instead of cramming our reflection time
into one week of special services, we are
going to slow down and focus our Lent
Services on the events which took place
during Holy Week.
Lunch Club we are on every
Wednesday 12.15 - 1.15pm and look
forward to welcoming you. The Midweek Service is in the Centenary Hall at
1.15pm for anyone wishing to attend
Church Visitors and W.F.O. Envelopes
-Advance Notice
The new W.F.O.
envelopes for the coming year will be
available at the back of the Church on
Sunday 1st March 2015, and the W.F.O.
Treasurer would be grateful if the Church
Visitors would collect them from there
and deliver them along with Life
Magazine.
Noah's Ark The afternoon session is
being well attended-- we now have 20
babies registered. However, we are in
urgent need of a few more volunteers for
the kitchen, so that we can produce a 4
or 6 week rota. It is not an arduous shift.
It operates in term time from 1.00 til'
2.30pm. Please consider helping in this
very worthwhile and enjoyable venture.
