Mr. Lee holds a Bachelors degree in Accountancy and is an FCCA. He has over 30 years’ experience in hospital management
and health care development.
Dr. Fareeda Jahangir (Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology & Fetal Medicine, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Fareeda obtained her MRCOG at ATSM in the UK. She has over 16 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Dr. Gowri Ramanathan (Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Director of Fetal Medicine, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Gowri obtained her FRCOG and CCT in the UK. She is a consultant with over 10 years of experience in obstetrics
and gynaecology.
Ms. Clodagh Queally (Staff Midwife, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Ms. Clodagh hails from Ireland where she completed her BSc in General Nursing, and further specialised in Midwifery.
Before joining our team she has worked in various nursing and midwifery roles in Ireland.
Ms. Karen Dunne (Staff Midwife, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Since the beginning of her career, Ms. Karen has worked as a registered Midwife in various UK hospitals before joining
our team. She holds a BA Hons Degree in Midwifery & Health Related Studies from Liverpool John Mores University, UK.
Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Haq (Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Ahmed obtained his FRCOG in the UK, MRCP in Ireland, and FACOG in the USA. He has over 20 years of experience
in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Dr. Shweta Uppal (Head of Laboratory Services, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Shweta is a consultant, American Board Certified in Pathology, FCAP, FASCP.
Dr. Walid Sayed (Medical Director, Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Infertility), HealthPlus Fertility Center)
Dr. Walid gained his Bachelor of Medicine in Egypt before moving to Germany where he specialised and worked in
Gynaecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine. Today he is a Consultant and Medical Director at the
HealthPlus Fertility Centre.
Ms. Winnie Lo (Nurse Manager, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Ms. Winnie has extensive experience in Midwifery and Clinical Nursing. She holds various qualifications in the field from
reputable institutions in the UK and Austria.
Dr. Rihan Saafan (Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Rihan obtained her MBBCh in Egypt and MRCOG in the UK. She has over 12 years of experience in obstetrics
and gynaecology.
Dr. Zofia Kotyra (Head of Anaesthesia, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Zofia obtained her FFARCSI and CCST in London. She has over 10 years of experience in anaesthesiology.
Dr. Raja Cingapagu (Specialist in Paediatric Surgery, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Dr. Raja obtained his MBBS, M.S and M.Ch in India – as well as a fellow in Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgery and Paediatric
Urology from Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in paediatrics.
Ms. Aziah Abdullah (Nurse Manager, Danat Al Emarat Hospital)
Before becoming a Nurse Manager, Ms. Aziah dedicated her life to working in various NICU units across the UAE
and KSA as Senior Staff and Charge Nurse. She holds various qualifications obtained in Malaysia, Austria and the UK
among other countries.
