Walking tour
Hiking trail to Reith (No. 14)
From the city center cross Reitherspitz Straße to the high school.
Take a right onto the Römerweg (Roman way) and follow it to the
southern Seefeld city limits. Just after Haus Magerle, the hiking trail
leads left towards Reith. After about 300 m, the hiking trail crosses
the autoroute. Immediately after crossing the road, take another
right through the forest towards Reith. Duration: about 1/2 hr. Return
to Seefeld with the train or the trail through Auland (No. 14). Degree
of difficulty: easy
Route S7: To chapel Birzlkapelle
Starting point: Scharnitz, information office Walking time: 2 hours,
approx. 5 km Cross the railway behind the information office and turn
left in direction trail Plattsteig - chapel Birzlkapelle. Follow the signs
for the circuit Rundwanderweg until you reach the chapel. Follow the
route to the trail Karwendelweg, turn right back to Scharnitz.
