===============================================================
Hello, I would like to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Bonnie Putz and I have
accepted the Director of Nursing position here at Strum Area Health and Rehabilitation. My
official start date was March 2, 2015; however, you may have seen me earlier than this date as I
was doing some training with Michelle. I am looking forward to working as Director of Nursing
at Strum Area Health and Rehabilitation for many years to come.
I received my associate degree from Western Technical College and BSN from University of
Texas out of Arlington. At this time I am attending on-line through Governors University in
Utah to obtain my MSN in administration. I have prior experience as a Charge Nurse, Nurse
Manager, Infection Control Nurse, and a Director of Nursing for approximately 3 years.
I am happily married to my best friend for 22+ years. My husband and I have two sons ages 21,
and 17. I have lived in the Arcadia community for over 25 years. In my off time I enjoy
spending time with my family, working around our house and or yard, when the weather is
permitting. I also enjoy reading, drawing, and painting.
I look forward to meeting each of you. So, please feel free to stop in my office at any time to
just say hello or to talk.
Sincerely, Bonnie Putz, DON

St. Patrick’s Day
Ireland is a relatively small island about
the size of Indiana. It has a generally mild
but rainy climate all year round which
gives the country its green vegetation and
its nickname, the “Emerald Isle”.The Irish
people are a blend of blonde Celts, redhaired Danes and Norsemen, and brown
haired French Normans. The people speak
both English and Gaelic, and both
languages are taught in schools. Ireland is
famous for its legend of St. Patrick which
claims he charmed all the snakes so they
went into the sea and drowned, thus
ridding the country of snakes forever.
