SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
IN NURSING ASSISTANT COURSE
Introduction:
West Bengal SC ST Development & Finance Corporation (A Govt. of West Bengal Undertaking) has
decided to conduct Skill Development Training for the women belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and
Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities of the State of West Bengal in Nursing Assistant including Soft Skills
Course through Ideal Institute Edutech Pvt. Ltd., the selected agency for the purpose. This is a free of
cost, non-residential training programme and certification will be made by National Council for
Vocational Training (N.C.V.T.).

Eligibility:
Women candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities of the State,
having minimum academic standard of class-X and above, age between 18 & 35 years and annual family
income not exceeding Rs. 81000/- (for rural areas) and Rs. 103000/- (for urban areas) will be eligible for
the training programme.
How to Apply:
Candidates have to apply online through http://www.wbscstcorp.gov.in. They may register through
helpline: 033 65501888/+91-8334015123 (open during 10.30 am to 5.30 pm on working days). Last
date of application-16.03.2015. An acknowledgement will automatically be generated on successful
submission.
Selection:
Selection would be made by a committee constituted with representatives of WBSCST Dev. & Fin.
Corporation and Ideal Institute Edutech Pvt. Ltd. Date and time of interview shall be communicated to
the eligible applicants over phone/e-mail/sms. Candidates shall bring copy of acknowledgement duly
signed by parents/guardian and herself along with the following documents on the date of interview.

EPIC (Voter’s Identity Card)/Rational Card as Residential proof

N. B. – Originals of the above documents have to be shown in the interview.
Evaluation & Certification:
Evaluation/Assessment of the training shall be done by National Council on Vocational Training (NCVT).
Certification shall be made by National Council on Vocational Training (NCVT) and to be distributed to all
the trainees who will complete the training course successfully. A separate certificate under the joint
signature of the authorities of WB SC ST DFC & Ideal Institute Edutech Pvt. Ltd may also be provided to
all the successful trainees.
Job Opportunity:
Necessary placement support for wage employment will be provided through Ideal Institute Edutech
Pvt. Ltd. to the successful trainees. For the successful trainees, there is scope of self employment also.
