 Be amazed by the golden anniversary show: "PARANGAL, a TRIBUTE to the Past, a GIFT for the Future" (READ

 Homecoming Banquet (follows the "Parangal" Show) -- guests will reminisce the past 50 years as selected alumni
share their experiences in the SPNP/FAAP and how these experiences helped shape who they are now.
 Homecoming event ends with a Brunch/Open Forum -- former SPNP/FAAP members can glimpse into the future
and become a participant in defining a vision of the Filipino community in the Pittsburgh.

Annual FAAP FALL Classic Race
Where: North Park, Pennsylvania
Registration and online payment is now open at http://faap5krace.yolasite.com/
COST: $20 per runner if paid 24 hours before the race
Race day registration will increase the fee by $5.00 ($25.00) so please register now!
PLEASE NOTE: Pre-Registration ends Friday, September 07 at 6PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).
After that, you must pay the extra fee of $5.00 online; this also applies during race day registration.
Part of the race proceeds will be donated to a charity in the Philippines.

OBITUARY:
The FAAP sends its deepest condolences to the Ritter Family on the death of Mrs. Faye M. Ritter, age 77, of
Lawrenceville, on Feb. 24, 2015. Beloved wife of Gene T. Ritter; loving mother of Jason Zuluetta, Paula Dubas and Pete
Johnson; grandmother of Yarra, Zoe, Ella and Sarah; sister of Renee Zuluetta, Edmund Obregon, Anthony Obregon,
Valentino Obregon and the late Reginald and Manuel Obregon.
FAAP community wishes to extend its deepest sympathy on the death of Mrs. Rosario "Charie" Logan on February 7.
She is one of the oldest members of the Samahang Pilipino ng Pittsburgh (SPNP), now called FAAP. She is survived by
her husband Paul; son, Michael and grandchildren: Stephen, Andrew and Cameron, as well as a sister Mercy Ragen.
Charie, together with husband Paul, was a very active SPNP member during its early years: at the annual picnics,
Christmas Party, Induction Ball, and especially the Pittsburgh International Folk Festival.
