The Swarovski Group comprises Swarovski Optik, which
produces optical instruments of the highest precision such as
telescopes and binoculars; Tyrolit, a leading manufacturer
of grinding, sawing, drilling, and dressing tools, as well as
a supplier of tools and machines; and the Swarovski Crystal
Business.
SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL BUSINESS
Swarovski designs, manufactures, and sells crystal, genuine
gemstones, created stones, and finished products such as
accessories and lighting solutions. What started in 1895 as
a small crystal manufacturing business in Wattens, Austria,
and has grown to be a global company making every day
extraordinary. With a rich history and a culture of creativity,
Swarovski is committed to growth and to maintaining its place at
the forefront of design, creativity, and technological innovation.

MANAGEMENT
Swarovski is run by the Executive Board of five fifth-generation family members:
ROBERT BUCHBAUER
Robert has been a member of the Executive Board since 2002
and is Chairman of the Board. He is based in Männedorf,
Switzerland, and is Head of the Swarovski Consumer Goods
Business. Robert studied Business and Management at LeopoldFranzens University in Innsbruck, and at the University of
California, Berkeley.
MATHIAS MARGREITER
Mathias has been a member of the Executive Board since
2002. He is based in Männedorf, Switzerland, and is Head
of Finance and Administration. Mathias studied International
Economics and Business Studies at Leopold-Franzens University
in Innsbruck, and graduated from the Tuck School of Business in
Dartmouth, USA, with a Master’s in Business Administration.
DANIEL J. COHEN
Daniel has been a member of the Executive Board since 2002 and
is based in Cranston, USA. He is responsible for the Swarovski
Gemstones Business, Swareflex, and the Swarovski Lighting
Business. Daniel graduated from Colby College, USA, with a
degree in Economics, and worked in the US commercial banking
industry before joining Swarovski in 1993.
NADJA SWAROVSKI
Nadja has been a member of the Executive Board
since 2011 and is based in London, UK. She is Head of
Corporate Branding & Communication and holds degrees in Art
History, Foreign Languages, and Latin American Studies from
the Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Nadja also studied
at Harvard and INSEAD. MARKUS LANGES -SWAROVSKI
Markus has been a member of the Executive Board since 2002
and is the Spokesperson of the Board. He is based in Wattens,
Austria, and is Head of the Swarovski Professional Business. He
studied at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the
Bavarian Academy of Advertising and Marketing.
BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
The world of Swarovski encompasses the production and marketing of a wide range of high-quality products
and services for consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B).
CRYSTAL COMPONENTS Manufacturing loose crystals
has been at the heart of the company since its foundation
in 1895. With more than 120 years of experience in highquality craftsmanship and mastery of precision cutting,
Swarovski is known for its crystals of unmatched range and
brilliance. They are used in creative industries such as fashion,
jewelry, accessories, interior design, and lighting. Swarovski
crystals are the most technologically advanced in the world,
and are now made to the new Advanced Crystal standard.
JEWELRY, WATCHES, AND FASHION ACCESSORIES
Number one in the fashion jewelry segment, Swarovski sells
its creations in approximately 2,680 own branded stores
around the globe. Swarovski’s finely crafted jewelry, watches,
and fashion accessories provide modern and multifaceted
women with a unique touch of sparkle, glamour, and
elegance. Each of Swarovski‘s eye-catching designs is infused
with technical expertise and a passion for detail that has
characterized the brand since its inception in 1895. With the
addition of luxury fashion accessories line Atelier Swarovski,
as well as the launch of the affordable fashion jewelry retail
concept lolaandgrace and multi-brand designer jewelry
store Cadenzza, Swarovski has considerably expanded its
portfolio. Swarovski also now offers jewelry design, sourcing,
and merchandising services for third-party brands.
FIGURINES AND HOME ACCESSORIES Since the
creation of the original mouse in 1976, Swarovski has
become famous around the world for its collections of crystal
figurines and home décor objects, including vases and picture
frames.
BEAUT Y AND FRAGRANCE Luxurious, luminous, and
unique – Swarovski perfumes and beauty products are
marketed under the brand names “Aura by Swarovski” and
“Swarovski Edition.”
SUNGLASSES AND OPTICAL EY WEAR Iconic,
masterfully crafted and with a touch of glamour – Swarovski
eyewear collections amplify sparkling individuality and
modern feminiity.
CORPORATE GIFTS Swarovski offers a comprehensive
range of corporate gifts and jewelry. It offers companies a
one-stop business solutions service encompassing global
design services, sourcing, as well as product development and
retail merchandising. The corporate gifts assortment includes
fashion jewelry and accessories, exclusive home and office
accessories, seasonal collections, and corporate awards.

Solutions, a team of experienced in-house lighting designers
and engineers specializing in custom modification of its two

TRAFFIC SAFET Y AND FUNCTIONAL LIGHTING
SOLUTIONS SWAREFLEX, a Swarovski Group company
established in 1950, is one of the industry’s leading providers
of functional lighting products and solutions. Building on its
longstanding traffic safety systems, SWAREFLEX has continued
to develop a diverse portfolio that now offers an impressive
range of products such as LED-based intelligent road safety
systems and lighting solutions for traffic zones, industrial
facilities, and even hotels. The company is also at the
forefront of the development of high-quality precision lenses
for applications in illumination optics (LED).
CRYSTAL EXPERIENCES Swarovski has had a history of
tradition and success since the family-owned company was
founded in 1895. Today, the fascination commanded by crystal
