GUEST SPEAKER: Seema Yasmin, M.D., M.PH., “Global Health and Medicine”
Dr. Yasmin is a medical doctor, epidemiologist, journalist, and medical analyst for CNN. Having
served as an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease, she is well-prepared to speak about global
public health, including the recent Ebola activity in the U.S. and the concurrent activity in Africa.
Dr. Yasmin's presentation is funded by a $1.4 million grant from the Asian American Native American Pacific Islander program
of the U.S. Department of Education.
