Role Profile JOB TITLE MID WEIGHT BROADCAST DESIGNER JOB SUMMARY Channel 5 is looking for a mid-‐weight motion graphics generalist with 3+ years’ experience in the broadcast industry. They will need to produce innovative design solutions for Channel 5’s family of brands across all platforms and should be able to work confidently in all mediums. This role also requires experience in providing finished and complete graphics packages for on and off-‐air. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Key Accountabilities • • • • • • • Logotype design Information design Title sequences Promo design Creation of channel packaging Print design / production and any off-‐air design associated with the Channel 5 brand Responsible for channel maintenance and the continuation and development of navigational systems ROLE-‐SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES Experience and Knowledge • • • • • • • • • Strong ability in creating 3D designs and animation 3+ years’ experience in the broadcast industry Thorough knowledge of TV graphic design and animation technology, plus emerging technologies. A strong skillset in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Cinema 4D is a must. Desirable skills: Adobe InDesign, Maya.
