What is the Great Tour?
Looking for a new cycle challenge? Then the Great Tour is for you. It is the ultimate cycling challenge
and involves a 64 day journey around the coast of Britain cycling approx. 100km per day.
Raising funds for Action for A-T you can get involved in three different ways.
Each ride is around 100km with a fully supported and delivered by a handpicked team of dedicated
experts assembled by SweetSpot. In aid of charity, this mass participation event will encourage
community engagement, charitable contributions and lifelong memories. The core group of 40 will
ride the whole event whilst being joined daily by corporate, charity and day riders building numbers
to nearly 200.
The Countrywide Great Tour offers a range of ways you can get involved in this epic adventure through
a variation of rider packages. Whether you're interested in one day, seven days or the entire 64 days
The Great Tour has a package for you.
One Day Package £50 - A single day rider will be welcomed at the start location registration point on
the morning of the ride, ready and equipped to start their day. To start you will be provided with a
Countrywide Great Tour t-shirt and on-going full bike maintenance support if required as well as one
fully catered lunch stop and two further refreshment stops at mapped points. Upon finishing there
will be a medal/pin as a token of congratulations. Luggage transfers provided for a day bag.
One Week Package £900 - A week rider will join us on Saturday morning (changeover day), at the
registration point, riding that week's seven Stages. In time for your stage you will have received an
official kit bag bundle which will include t-shirts and a jersey. Your package will include a fully catered
array of meals prepared by our Great Tour Catering Team. All accommodation for the duration of your
ride is also included, providing the perfect way to travel the coastline; fully supported to make the
best of your experience.
64-Day Package £8100 - This ultimate rider package can prove to be once in a lifetime. The whole 64
day ride reflects every inch of Britain's coastline. A fully catered and fully accommodated ride which
is supported by experienced staff is the ideal way to completely enjoy this adventure. Your bundle
pack includes a kit bag, jersey, jacket, t-shirt and much more which will be delivered beforehand.
