INVITATION OF THE 30th CASTIC
Dear Sir / Madam,
The 30th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest
(CASTIC) will be held in Hong Kong, China from August 18th through 24th
2015. Jointly organized by China Association for Science and Technology,
Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of
Environmental Protection, National Sports Administration, National Natural
Science Foundation, Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth
League, All-China Women’s Federation, the contest aims to encourage creative
thinking and learning among young students. Every year, more than 500
finalists from all provincial contests of China participate in the contest.
CASTIC also invites foreign students with their projects to display their
projects and exchange with Chinese students. Special prizes will be awarded to
the excellent international projects.

We are pleased to invite you to send excellent students from your country to
participate in the 30th CASTIC. Each team may consist of 4 students and 2
adults at most and the contestants must be under the age of 20. Each project
will be provided with a display area of 100cm in depth, 200cm in width and
200cm in height and an exhibit board of 120cm x 90cm. Models and other
displaying items are allowed within the maximum exhibit dimensions. The
judging language is English. We will cover the cost of meals, local
transportation and accommodation of the team during the contest. Visitors are
also welcomed and will be charged USD1500 per person for their participation.
The travel costs to and from Hong Kong are the responsibility of each
participating team.
The on-line registration will be open from April 20th and the deadline of
