I am a talented, hard working graduate of Mass Communication and International Relations, with
specialization in Public relations (Administration). I have sufficient and working knowledge on the
Public Relations field, Print Media and Broadcasting skills. I also have knowledge on Research,
International Trade, Marketing, Conflict and Resolution management, International Organizations and
African and International relations. I envision working in an Organization that offers me the challenge
and opportunity to further explore my talent and ambition in this area.

1.4 EXPERIENCE AND DEEDS
Year
2014 to date: Media relations Officer - Elimika Digital Tuition. My jobs involves researching the
project, linking project members with management, Organizing Teachers, making sure
the project reaches its clients through the service offered, reviewing and posting
newspaper cuttings relating to youth. (Project under TACCI – Tanzania Community
Civic Initiatives)
2013 - 2014: Sub Editor Nihabarishe Newspaper. My job involves being in charge of the
newspaper (Assistant), advising Chief Editor, editing stories to suit the policy and style
of the newspaper, making corrections of grammar, and eliminating verbosity and
libelous statement in stories among many duties.
2008 - 2009: Public Relations Attaché, at the National Bank of Commerce, Mbeya Branch. My
Job involves implementation of NBC Corporate social responsibilities and creating
good Relations with all Bank Stakeholders such as the General Public, Government,
None Governmental Organizations, Community Business Organizations etc.
2006 - 2009: Radio Presenter / Producer at Radio SAUT. My Job Involves Script writing, news
presenting, and general Media Coverage.
1.4.1 SEMINARS

HIV AIDS Seminar organized by ASUTA (Asasi ya Uwezeshaji Tanzania) conducted in
Bagamoyo (2012). The Seminar was delivered by Bagamoyo District Council department of
health. The Seminar covered HIV AIDS causes, how the disease do spread, effects and the
aftermath of it. The Seminar also covered Sexual transmitted diseases. The Seminar took one
week.

Entrepreneurship Seminar Organised by ASUTA (Asasi ya Uwezeshaji Tanzania) conducted
in Bagamoyo (2012). The Seminar was delivered by Centre for entrepreneurship Skills – Kibaha.
The Seminar took one week and covered the following; general knowledge of entrepreneurship,
business proposal, researching when starting a business and Marketing.

1.4.2 TRAININGS

Training on storytelling facilitated by TACCI (Tanzania Community Civic Initiatives). The
Training took three days. The Training was delivered by Director of TACCI Dr. Augustine Hatar

Storytelling is the conveying of events in words, and images. It’s a way of transmitting a
message in an entertaining and memorable manner. Storytelling does have to be shared in every
culture as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation, and instilling moral
values. They need to be illustrative, easily memorable, and creating stronger emotional bonds
with listeners and viewers.
Some crucial elements of stories and storytelling include plot, Stickiness, Relevance and
authentic / truthiness. It’s not about what you want to say. It’s about what you want your
audience to remember and share.





Researcher of different fields, for instance I have done the Research titled “The role of Civil
Societies in Protecting Women’s rights in Tanzania”. A case of Dar es salaam Municipality.
Graded B+.
I write News and Feature stories in Print media regularly.
Participated in writing Advanced Level History paper II book, titled “Major events in the world’’,
by Zombwe G. Mtemi.
Driving: I am in possession of a clean and valid class D Driving license.
