The Rotary Club of Calgary Heritage Park
raises funds to support humanitarian
programs, both locally and around the world.
In Calgary, we provide funding for numerous
programs including: Veteran’s Food Bank,
children’s literacy and funding for homeless
families. Internationally, our club supports
Rotary International’s efforts, which include
a program to eradicate polio, fresh water
systems, scholarship programs for under
privileged children in Mexico and the Shelter
Box program that provides emergency shelter
for disaster victims.

ARF needs a place to call home!
2015 is ARF’s 20th Anniversary and our goal
is to have our own facility by 2016. 2014 saw
a sharp increase in medical interventions and
large-scale rescues that have highlighted that
our need for an emergency shelter is now more
important than ever. It will allow us to house
animals that need quarantine and emergency
shelter along with providing important training
opportunities for the general public.
Entering into our sixth year of fundraising, with
more than $450,000, we are proud to have
a new Campaign Manager and are currently
seeking major donors to finish the campaign.
