Named to the position of Aseptia’s Vice President of Operations in the fall of 2014, John Winnie
began his tenure with the company in September 2013 as Director of Dairy Operations for
Wright Foods and Carolina Dairy.
Prior to his work with Aseptia, Winnie was Director of Operations for Chobani, working with
engineers to build the world’s largest yogurt plant at 1,000,000 square feet and hiring a team of
more than 600 employees. His professional experience also includes operations manager for
Superior Dairy and plant manager for Crowley Foods. His food industry career spans more than
30 years and his expertise includes reviving failing plants, reducing losses and increasing
productivity.
In 2004, Winnie earned an Associate of Science degree in business management from New
Hampshire Technical Institute. He worked full-time and attended night school to complete his
degree.
