CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF ADVERTISEMENTS
RSL South Australia reserves the right to refuse any
advertisement or change position without prior notice or
provide any reason for doing so.
While every care is taken in compiling the advertisements,
neither RSL South Australia nor their agents accept the
responsibility for any inaccuracies or omissions or for
any consequences arising from the publication of any
advertisement. The advertiser agrees to indemnify RSL
South Australia, its servants or agents against damages,
losses or claims by third parties from publication of the
advertisement.
All advertisements must comply with government
regulations and laws. It is the sole responsibility of the
advertisers or their representatives and or advertising
agencies to indemnify the publisher, its servants and agents
against all liability claims or proceedings whatsoever
arising from the publication and without limiting the
aforementioned to indemnify all of them in relation to
defamation, slander of all types, breach of copyright,
infringement of trademarks or titles, trade practices, or
unfair competition, royalties or privacy laws. Any discounts,
commissions or contract rates offered are subject to
payments being received by the publisher within the
stipulated credit period last announced by the publisher.
RSL South Australia reserves the right to charge the casual
rate and levy a surcharge in the event of payments not
being received within the stipulated credit period.
Booking and cancellation deadlines must be adhered to.
The publisher reserves the right to charge the full rate for
advertisements cancelled beyond these deadlines.
Trading Terms
Advertising space accounts net 30 days from date of
invoice/publication.
Confirmation of Bookings
Responsibility cannot be accepted for advertisements
or instructions received by telephone unless they are
confirmed in writing prior to publication.
Cancellation of Bookings
Must be made in writing 14 days prior to the booking
deadline or the publisher reserves the right to charge in
full.
Contract Bookings
Contract bookings protect the advertiser, allowing them the
rate at which the booking was made for the chosen number
of issues booked over a maximum period of one year. Should
an advertiser elect to cancel one advertisement within
this block, all advertisements concerned in this booking
will be billed at the lower appropriate discount rate (still
protected). Should, however, the advertiser cancel more
than one of the advertisements booked, rate protection will
be nullified and the current casual rate will apply.
Trade Practices Act 1974 Section 52 of the Act imposes
a General Duty on anyone (individuals and corporations
alike) not to engage in, trade or commerce in conduct
that is misleading or deceptive. It is suggested that in the
case of doubt, advertisers and advertising agencies should
seek legal advice. The advertiser agrees to indemnify
the publisher for any demands, claims, damages or
liability whatsoever arising directly out of or caused by or
connected with the printing publication or display of the
advertiser’s message.

Clients are responsible for copyright approval for material
