Sunset to occur in conjunction with re-launch on our Iowa product platform
On June 15, 2015, we will discontinue sales of the ATHENE Performance Elite and ATHENE Performance
Elite Plus fixed index annuities in the following states:
AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IA, KS, KY, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ,
NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI & WY.
They will remain available in CA, DE, IN, LA, MO, OR, and TX. Please check our rate sheet for current
product availability.
Products to be sunset include:

ATHENE Performance Elite Plus
ATHENE Performance Elite 10
ATHENE Performance Elite 10 Plus
ATHENE Performance Elite 14




Applications with cash that are received in good order in our service center by June 19, 2015 will be
issued as applied for.
Non-cash applications (e.g. 1035 exchanges, IRA rollovers) that are received in good order in our
service center by June 19, 2015 will be issued as applied for, provided funds are received no later than
July 30, 2015.
Faxed applications will not be accepted.

Assurance Company, Wilmington, DE). They’re being retired in conjunction with the June re-launch of Athene
Performance Elite by our Iowa company (Athene Annuity and Life Company, West Des Moines, IA).
You must be contracted with our Iowa company, Athene Annuity and Life Company, West Des Moines, IA,
and complete mandatory product training to sell Athene Performance Elite following its June re-launch.
