on the customer’s requirements.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
• It is recommended that you do not cover the product unless done so with extreme caution and attention to ventilation.
• Do not cut, shorten or splice power cord.
• Do not route through walls, doors, windows or building structures.
• Do not apply power when tightly coiled. Maintain half inch spacing between parts.
• During installation, do not scratch tampered glass lense as this will affect the optics of the unit.
• Do not submerge in liquid or apply near standing water.
• Do not secure power cables with staples, nails or like means that can damage the insulation on the cables.
• Do not mount inside cabinets, tanks or enclosures unless properly ventilated.
• Do not unroll on a rough surface or over sharp corners.
• Do not operate in temperatures exceeding 149°F (65°C).
• Ground Fault Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on all circuits.
• Do not operate on circuits that do not have proper surge suppression protection. High voltage spikes will damage
the LEDs.
• Do not operate over the specified voltage or current.
• Do not leave any part unsecured. Movement over time from weather can cause damage from continuous movement.
• Do no operate if power cord jacket is damaged or internal wires are visible.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
General Material/Tool Requirements:
Material needed for installation:
BFL Roll
12V or 24V Transformer
BFL Accessories as needed
Measuring tape
Scissors
Wire cutters
Screw driver
1. Measure the installation location to determine product length.
2. Measure the BFL to match required installation length. BFL can be cut along the 2 conductor stranded wires.
3. Using a wire cutter, make an
even cut through product. (Fig. 1)
Fig. 1
Cut
NOTE: It is imperative to use a sharp cutting blade to make a straight cut. Sharp blades will help you avoid pulling the
internal circuitry while making the cut. Stretching or pulling the product can result in damage.
4. Position BFL in the intended location.
5. Anchor mounting clip (BFL-MC). Place using appropriate hardware for application. Place mounting clips every 6’
6. Install LED lamps (Fig. 2) into holders, snapping firmly in place. Alignment of lamps can be done a this time. (Fig. 3)
Fig. 2
Fig. 3
7. Install end cap (BFL-EC) on end of trac.
8. Install terminal block inside Junction Box (BFL-JB).
9. Connect fixture wires to terminal block (BFL-TB), and transformer wires to other side of terminal block.
Note: Transformer wattage can be determined by the following equation;
# LED Lamps X 1.00 Watt/Lamps = Transformer wattage.
Example: 5’ of product with LED lamps installed every 4” for a total of 15 lamps
15 lamps X 1.00 Watt/Lamps = 15 Watts
Recommended transformer XFMR-12-20
10. Finalize 120V connection per NEC and local jurisdiction.
