2015 BASEBALL SUMMER CAMPS
In addition to learning from an expert coaching staff, your camp experience
will include working out in top quality facilities. Camps take place at
Theunissen Stadium – a $5 million stadium offering amenities similar to minor
league baseball parks, – a full-size practice field next to Theunissen and the
Indoor Athletic Complex – a facility with a 100-yard turf bay featuring eight
batting cages and a 7,500-square-foot strength and conditioning center.
Grand Slam Camp
Sunday-Tuesday, June 21-23 • Ages 13-19
Boarding - $255, Commuter - $180
Registration: 5-6 p.m. in IAC
With detailed drills and instruction, players leave this camp with knowledge of
advanced techniques in pitching, catching, hitting, bunting, fielding, base running
and overall game skills. Players compete in competitive scrimmages featuring some
of the most talented players in the state.
Little League Day Camp
Monday-Wednesday, June 22-24 • Ages 8-12 • Commuter - $130
Registration: 8-8:45 a.m. in IAC; Camp: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Young baseball players learn the fundamentals of offense and defense and have
the opportunity to play in actual games. This camp has become a favorite of Little
Leaguers and focuses on every area of Little League fundamentals.
Potential Prospect Day Camps (P2)
Monday, July 13 • Grades 8-12
One session - $70; Both sessions - $130
Session #1 Registration: 8-9 a.m. at Theunissen Stadium
Session #2 Registration: 12-1 p.m. at Theunissen Stadium
This camp is split into two three-hour sessions that offer professional skill
instruction in hitting, pitching and position work. The first session is for pitchers
and catchers and the second session is for position players. Many campers
participate in both sessions enabling them to showcase their versatility and
potential to play multiple positions. They also have the chance to enhance their
skills while playing at a Division I University.

Doug Sanders
Assistant coach
•In his third season with the Chippewas and
handles hitting and infield instruction
•Coached three All-MAC selections and one AllRegion honoree last year
•Two-year starter at second base for KSU,
leading the Golden Flashes to two MAC

Will Arnold
Assistant coach
• Fourth season as CMU’s catching coach
•Coached an All-MAC and All-Region performer
last season
•Four-year letterwinner at Central Michigan,
starting 102 games over his final two seasons
•Earned All-MAC honors in 2012 after leading
the Chippewas in RBI, walks and OBP.
•The Mount Pleasant native was named Co-Mr.
Baseball by the Michigan High School Coaches
