Come, let us PRAY together!
We recognize the importance of coming together and praying for personal concerns.
Please feel free to come up front after our service and someone will pray with you
for whatever you would like to hold up to our great God. All prayer matters are
kept confidential.
Your Sheltering Tree Prayer Team
WELCOME TO WORSHIP AT BETHEL!
Thank you for joining us today! If you are visiting us today for the first time,
please feel free to help yourself to a gift from the welcome basket located in the
Gathering Place. Please return as we would love to get to know you better!
A WHITE ROSE in the front of our worship center sits among the many other flowers given in
memory of Jason Friend. We give our love and sympathy to the Friend family and his many
friends in the sudden loss of Jason. We will be joining together to celebrate his life and continue to
care for one another in his death at Bethel Church today at 2:00pm with visitation with the family
at 1:00pm. Lunch will follow immediately following the service in the Upper Ignite Center of
Bethel. We thank you for your constant prayers for Jason's family during this very difficult time.
WELCOME TO PASTOR ARLAN KOPPENDRAYER! Today, Pastor Arlan will begin his series,
“Surprised by Glory!” Next week on Palm Sunday, John 12:20-32 will be his text with the sermon
titled, Glorification in Humiliation. Please join us!
PASTORAL CANDIDATES will be at Bethel Church on April 12th and April 19th! Please see the
insert in this bulletin for dates and times which you are invited to meet our two pastoral candidates.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Search Committee. Jeff Rice, Chair –
320.294.5512.
BETHEL OFFICE HOURS will be slightly different over the next two weeks. Bonnie will be on
vacation through Tuesday, March 24th and Jason will be on vacation until April 6th. Please know
that you may continue to contact them via email or cell phone if needed. Continue to send prayer
requests through to [email protected] or [email protected].
SECOND OFFERING NEXT SUNDAY – DEBT REDUCTION – Our debt reduction offerings
only occur when we have 5 Sunday's in a month. This offering goes directly to pay principle only
on our building loan thus reducing our monthly principle and interest payments. You can also give
these donations at any time outside of the 5th Sunday by enclosing your cash or check in a sealed
envelope marked accordingly and put it the offering plate. Thank you very much for your
generosity!
Bethel Deacons
NEXT SUNDAY we will have the joy of witnessing the baptism of Elijah Nicholas Sohre, son of
Nick and Hannah Sohre. Baptism is a sign and seal of God's covenant promises to His people. In
baptism, God will set Eli apart as His own dear child. We, the congregation, will promise to do our
part in Eli's life. We will promise to love, encourage and pray for him as he grows, and to support
his parents as they raise him in the fear of the Lord. Please be present to welcome Elijah into God's
family!

ADULT RETREAT THANK YOU! A great retreat was made possible with a lot of help from
many people - Bob and Lynn for the use of their van, Bonnie for all her help with the flyers and
advertising, the Retreat Committee for taking care of the different needs, and those who attended
and offered their help. It was a great weekend with a great message from Pastor Don Smith!
Jeff Rice
“A.D. – THE BIBLE CONTINUES” – Shirley Jones would like everyone to know that a Bible
series is starting on Easter Sunday on NBC (KARE 11). They will start with the crucifixion based
on the Book of Acts. It will be a 12-part series. Please plan to watch and share with one another.
ONE MORE SUNDAY TO “PACK THE PEWS” Bethel Church is joining forces with
congregations across the state! MN FoodShare’s March Campaign helps 300 food shelves
statewide keep their shelves stocked throughout the year including our own Princeton Pantry.
The Pantry receives food for every pound or dollar donated during the month
of March. Bags will be located on the front pew of Bethel Church over the
next two Sundays for you to add your contributions. Please remember, the
Pantry is NOT able to purchase personal care items at discounted prices so,
they are appreciated. Whether you choose product or a cash donation, all
will be put to good use!
God is at work in the many of Bethel’s ongoing ministries. If you would like to find out
more or possibly get involved, please contact the ministry leader.

5th Sunday of Lent
In tragedy God’s presence is felt and needed. Thank God that we can feel HIS love
wrapping us in His arms. May the Friend family - Cal, Brenda, Elizabeth, Nathaniel,

May God bring many into a closer relationship or a new one with Jason’s passing.
Jesus has conquered death and the grave!
