NOTIFICATION
REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION IN THE
B.ED COURSE FOR THE SESSION 2015 - 2016
1. All candidates should apply from 22/05/2015 to 27/05/2015.
Deputed candidates should apply taking into consideration the following points.
a) Resolution from the managing committee.
b) D.I. approved exact date of joining to be mentioned by the candidate
Selection of the deputed candidate according to seniority.
c) No objection letter from Headmistress/Secretary. List of the selected candidates will
be published according to University format. The publication date will be declared
later.
2. Subjects: Bengali, History, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Geography, Economics, English
(Seats in Philosophy & Economics are limited), Mathematics, Physical Science,
Life Science.
Subject combination to be followed:-Any two subject from any one group to be selected:

Along with admission from both side photocopy of all necessary testimonials should be given.
Attested copy off all the documents should be given.
Important Points:
It is entirely the responsibility of the candidates to collect the forms according to important points.
Form of candidates who do not have the necessary qualification & required subjects will have this
forms cancelled. College authority is not responsible for this. Incomplete from will be cancelled.
Candidates must produce the copy of the challan & form no. the time of admission.

Eligibility for admission to B.Ed. Course
Admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course under semester system is open to the
candidate with graduate (Pass/General/Hons./Major.) or post graduate degree(with 50% Marks in
aggregate in case of candidates belonging to General Category, 45% marks for
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe & Differently Abled (PH) categories ) of Calcutta
University or any other recognized University of West Bengal. Requirement of 50% (fifty percent)
marks shall not apply for persons appointed as teachers prior to the commencement of the
National Council for Teacher Education(Regulations Norms & Procedure) Second Amendment
Regulation, 2010 as laid down at para 8(i) of the aforesaid Gazette. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled
Tribe applicants from the other states will not get the reservation facilities of S.C. / S.T.
Reservation of Seat for B.Ed. Admission:i) Calcutta University…………………80%
ii) Other University…………………….20%
(20% Reservation will be maintained only in case of FRESHER STUDENT, not for deputed
candidate)
The rule regarding reservation of seats for Scheduled Cast, Scheduled Tribe &physically
Handicapped will be as follows:

Age limit: For fresher Students (General Category) ……………….40 years (As on 30th June 2015)
For Deputed Student (General Category) ……………….45 years (As on 30th June 2015)
There is relaxation of age for maximum 5(five) years for the students belonging to Scheduled Cast,
Scheduled Tribe & Physically Handicapped Categories.
