I am thrilled to announce that Black, Starr & Frost, America’s First Jeweler Since 1810 is coming to Phoenix this fall.
I am enormously grateful for the generosity this community has shown me through Molina Fine Jewelers for
nearly three decades. I love what I do, and I am passionate about bringing the best to you.
In 2006, I acquired Black, Starr & Frost, the iconic luxury brand that paved the way for the jewelry industry,
and it has been a dream come true to be the steward of this venerable firm.
Black, Starr & Frost is an innovator and trailblazer in the world of fine jewelry. The firm was the first retailer
on New York’s legendary Fifth Avenue, the first retailer to use plate glass windows to show merchandise to the
outside and the inventor of the safe deposit box system. Black, Starr & Frost designed the first class ring, the
medal that ultimately inspired the Medal of Honor and was the first wristwatch designer in this country’s
history. The firm served presidents, captains of industry and Hollywood’s elite. We are so proud of Black, Starr
& Frost’s 205 years of continuous operation that we published the first-ever book featuring the incredible history
of this legendary company.
This fall, Black, Starr & Frost will begin its next chapter with the debut of its second luxurious salon located in
Phoenix, Arizona. Construction began this week and the new salon will be proudly located in the landmark
Molina building at 32nd Street and Camelback Road. Black, Starr & Frost’s current salon is in beautiful
Newport Beach, California. During construction, Molina Fine Jewelers will remain open and in full operation. This fall, the two companies
will operate side by side to meet the full range of our clients’ desires. The brands are complementary and are
intended to expand our offerings to our clients with the finest quality and service.
We are so excited to debut this new salon and to celebrate the grand opening with you this fall.
