Application area
VisuWin SE is a universal „all-in-one“-program for marking process management. 80% of all
applications and requirements of scribe, stylus and DataMatrix marking machines are covered
by the mostly menu-driven configuration ability of features and functions.
Due to the Standard Windows® functionality of usage, the program qualifies especially for
individually operated devices. Via various standardized interfaces, it can communicate with
scanners, printers and other data process devices as well as be integrated in production
control systems.
Typical applications are name plate machines or manually fed stand-alone marking stations
for any components. The software is also best suited for general purpose marking appliances
with marking layouts that are frequently changed or need to be re-defined.

Operating
VisuWin SE can process a module with all necessary I/O signals. Alternatively, the software
can operate a simple manually inserted appliance, a circumferential marking unit for marking
of texts on a cylindrical surface or an automatic sliding module. The parameterization is
preset by BORRIES.

Layouts
The software can manage any number of layouts (marking models). Each layout can mark
up to 100 fields (lines), with a maximum capacity of 128 characters per line. Date and time
functions as well as counters can be created. Global variables, which can be used
simultaneously by several layouts, are accessible as well. For each layout a background
(work piece-) picture can be defined as BMP file for the WYSIWYG representation.

Job-processing
The software can edit a layout (as a job). There is no queue for storing several jobs. A job is
created with a quantity and a specimen number, thus a layout can for example be marked 50
times. In doing so, preexisting counters will be incremented by one after each marking cycle.
The counters can be proceeded automatically within the next call. It is also possible counting
up in a job, for example to number serial.
