Sub: Summer Camp 2105
Co-curricular activities are an essential part of growth and learning of every child. They
help in catalyzing, furthering and sharpening of intellectual abilities. They come to the
aid of children in enhancing their various skills and help students to give vent to several
potential abilities that are lying dormant in them.
The school is pleased to inform you that a variety of very interesting and engaging cocurricular activities such as dance, craft, indoor games such as chess and TT, painting,
pencil drawing, sports, and a host of other worthwhile engagements with a view to
improving life skills and teaching abiding values such as sharing and caring are organized
for children of classes from KG1 to VIII.
The Summer Camp to be held on the main campus will be as per the details given below:

6 weeks
Camp starts on
: 1st July, ends on: 13th August 2015
Timings
: 8.00 am to 12.30pm (Sunday to Thursday)
Given below are the details which you may find useful in enrolling your child for the
program. Their time will be divided into four sections.

Performing Art
 Dance
 Shadow play and puppetry (subject to availability)
 Music – keyboard & drums
 Public Speaking
2.
Health & Fitness
 Aerobics, Yoga
 Personal grooming
3.
Creative Activities
 Art, Craft and Collage
 ‘Best out of waste’
 Needle work, Soft toys
 Home Science
4.
Indoor games
 Chess, Caroms, Scrabble, Table Tennis, Badminton.
 Swimming for Class I to VIII.
5.
Visit to various places of interest( may be carried out subject to
availability of satisfactory venue)
Activities and visits will be offered as per the age group.

Transportation charges:
School transport can be availed for an additional charge of
Qr.400/- (for 6 weeks –
within city limits, excluding Al khor, Umsalal Ali, Sahalia, Kharathath and Messiad)
For enrolling your child for the Summer Camp, please pay the fees at the Accounts
Department on or before Thursday, 04th June 2015.
The Consent Letter furnished herewith should be filled and submitted at the Accounts
Department while making the payment. Please note that the number of participants who
can take part in the Summer Camp is limited.
