Adding Photos To Tree From Person Details
Photos can be added directly to the tree, both from the
summary card and the person page.
When adding a Photo from this section it is
automatically linked to the individual you have selected
in Family Tree.
Placing a Photo With One Individual in the Tree
1. Click on Add under Photos on the Person page.
On the bottom of the graphic above it shows four kinds
of files that are accepted for adding photos.
Click on Memories on the summary card.
2. You can either drag and drop a photo or click the “+”
sign to browse for a photo.
Click on Memories on the Person Details Page
When browsing for the photo, select the photo and click
open.
3. You can choose as many pictures as you want by
either dragging and dropping them into the open
window, or browsing and finding them on your
computer.
By clicking on Memories from either location it takes
you to the same place, Add.
4. If you have a picture then add it in now.
1 5. Click on the picture you just entered.
6. To continue click between the eyes of the individual
you want to tag.
The new photo shows up as completed and a box is
automatically checked on the bottom left corner. By
clicking Add Photos your new photo/photos are
attached to the individual that was selected in Family
Tree.
7. By clicking on the squares a circle can be drawn
around the face. Make the circle larger than the face
and it displays better. When the circle is satisfactory
click on Save. The label on the photo is given by
Family Tree and they want the first name followed
by the last name.
The first picture you enter is the default picture for the
portrait and shows in the tree. We will learn how to
change the portrait picture later.
The picture I just entered has a red exclamation point by
it because the tag needs to be completed.
2 8. On the top of the photo click edit.
9. Type in the title you prefer for the photo and click
Save.
