Troop 459 Summer Camp 2015
Visitor’s Sunday – June 21
As is tradition within Troop 459, we will be having a pot
luck lunch for Visitors Sunday while at Summer Camp.
Jim Forson will be cooking a variety of items on the
smoker for everyone. The meal will start at 12 Noon.
Plan to arrive around 11 a.m. to prepare for lunch. Allow
at least 1 ½ hour drive time.
Please bring a food item to round out the meal. Bring
enough to feed 10 - 12 people:

Cold drinks for your family (non-alcoholic)
Eating utensils and plates
Salad or side dish (families with last name N-Z)
Dessert (families with last name A-M)
Follow the map to Camp Piercing Arrow, which is the
first right once you enter the reservation. Once in
Piercing Arrow, Campsite Union is the first camp on the
left, just past the archery range. Bring camp chairs, a
hat, sunscreen, “closed-toed” shoes, and possibly snacks
to leave with your Scout.
Directions from Kansas City
Highway 71 south to Harrisonville.
Highway 7 from Harrisonville south to Clinton.
Highway 13 from Clinton to St. Clair County Highway C.
Stay on Highway C approximately 12 miles to a stop sign.
Turn right (south) through the town of Iconium, Missouri.
The camp entrance is less than a mile from Iconium on County Z. Signs will point the way.
