Ms. Melanie Anne Egorin
Senior Legislative Advisor, Democratic House Ways and
Means Committee
Melanie Anne Egorin has over 15 years of
health policy experience including more
than 10 years in the federal government. She
currently serves as Professional Democratic
Staff for the Committee on Ways and Means
in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is
the lead staff person for Affordable Care
Act policy and implementation as well as
Medicare
Advantage,
dual-eligible
beneficiaries, and Medicare program
integrity.
Prior to joining Ways and Means, Dr. Egorin was a Senior Analyst at the
U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). She holds both
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Emory University and a Ph.D.
from the University of California San Francisco.
