※ Since 2014, the major Pharmacy- Medicine analytics name has been changed to
Drug Metabolism and Bioanalysis, also Clinical Pharmacy has been added.
※ According to classes opened in 2015, International studies will only open English
classes based on special quality of course.
※ The qualification for Korean language teaching certificate 2nd level can be awarded to
students acquiring Korean Language & Education for Foreigners’ degree.
(Refer to Korean Language Education Act, Article 13.)
※ The master’s course of Food & Nutrition has been designated under clinical
nutritionist education institution and the curriculum will be run based on the
affiliated department.
Ⅱ. Admission Quota
□ A limited number of students are offered admissions to each academic department
or program.
※ The department can refuse to accept students, if none of the applicants fulfil
the department's criteria.
※ In case of some departments, when the number of applicants does not meet
the quota, there can be no selection.

Ⅲ. Qualifications
□ Master's Degree and Combined Master & Doctorate Degree
- Applicant should meet one of the following eligibility clauses
A. The applicants and both parents of the applicants have a nationality other than
Korean and have a Bachelor's degree or in the final semester of the
above degree program at the time of application.
B. If the applicants or one of the parents are not foreigners, the applicants have
completed or are expected to complete 16 years of primary and secondary
education(elementary to post-secondary) outside of Korea and have a Bachelor's
degree or in the final semester of the above degree program at the time of
application.
□Doctorate Degree
- Applicant should meet one of the following eligibility clauses
A. The applicants and both parents of the applicant have a nationality other
than Korean and have a Master's degree or in the final semester of the
above degree program at the time of application.
B. If the applicants or one of the parents are not foreigners, the applicants have
completed or are expected to complete 16 years of primary and secondary
education (elementary to post-secondary) outside of Korea and have a Master's
degree in Korea or outside Korea or in the final semester of the above degree
program at the time of application.
※ Those who are expected to earn a degree until August must submit a required
graduation certificate by August 28, 2015 (Friday). If he or she does not submit
the graduation certificate, the admission will be canceled.
□ Korean , English Languages Proficiency
A. Applicants who have TOPIK level 3 or above (Applicants who hold 3 grades at
TOPIK must submit 4 or higher grades at TOPIK before graduating)
B. Applicants who have TOEFL PBT 550, CBT 210, iBT 80, IELTS 5.5 or TEPS 550 above
can apply regardless of Korean Language proficiency.
※ Applicants who were born and raised in English speaking countries do not need to submit
official English scores, but applicants who wish to receive foreigner’s scholarship must submit
official English scores.
C. The scholarship is commensurate with TOPIK, TOEFL and IELTS scores.

Ⅳ. Screening Procedure and Admission Process
1. Screening Procedure
The screening process combines the paper examination, interviews and practical
examination determined by each department. The interviews include tests on learning
capability for Korean classes and major courses.

※ Our graduate school does not use the personal information (such as Foreign
Registration Number or resident registration number, name, e-mail, phone number, and
educational background) for any other reasons than admission selection. But, personal
information of final acceptances are used as materials for making school registration,
and applicant’s agreement is required in submitting the application consequentially.

☞ If the document is not written in Korean or English, submit the English notarized document.
☞ Important notices are sent to Email, so please make sure your Email address is written
correctly and frequent checking of your inbox is required.

1. Academic ability confirming document: Apostille
A. Submission subject: Admitted students
B. Submission related document: Any sort of certificate issued from a foreign
school (Proof of enrollment・Transcript・Diploma and etc.)
※ Official documents and certificates from private school can be requested for issue
of Apostille after being notarized.
C. Submission method
1) Governments that are designated by the country which the concerned school is
located in issue the Apostille certificate to many certificates that were issued by
foreign schools.
※ Institution that issues Apostille certification are from an officially designated
corresponding government.
※ If the country is not a party to agreement on Apostille certificate, get a “consul
confirmation” from Korean consulate located in the corresponding country.
※ Applicants can also hand in “consul confirmation” from Korean consulate located in
corresponding countries instead of Apostille certification even if their country is a party
to agreement of Apostille certificate.
2) Hand in original documents from school and Apostille certification (or Consul
confirmation) together by August 28, 2015 (Friday).
* Those who are expected to earn a degree must hand in diploma with Apostille certificate

3. Notes
A. The screening of applications is conducted only by Songsim International Campus.
B. Applicants who do not submit the required documents within the deadline are
automatically disqualified.
C. Information contained at the applications shall not be changed, and the submitted
documents and the screening fee will not be returned, EXCEPT :
: When the applicant fails to apply because of a health emergency caused by a
disaster, disease or other accidents, or other problems beyond control by the
applicant. In this case, a refund application may be submitted together with the
proof of emergency, within three days after the screening day. The application will
be subject to evaluation and refunds may be given in partial or full according to
the result.

The document cannot be reissued will be returned after successful applicant has
been announced.
D. Grades at the screening examination are not disclosed.
E. If candidates are found out using unacceptable methods, the admission to
the school may be canceled at any time.

McDonald’s) or Bus No. 51 in the North Exit and get off at
“Catholic University of Korea” stop. The campus is located
approximately 10 minutes from the station.
