Dear Father or your designee,
On the reverse side of this letter are listed scouts who wish to work on Girl Scout
and Boy Scout Catholic Religious Emblems. The Archdiocese of Miami Catholic
Committee on Scouting requires that Scouts seeking Religious Emblems be
enrolled in a religious education program or attend a Catholic school, at least
up to Confirmation, and that they are practicing their faith.
I am asking that you confirm the eligibility of these Scouts to work on the Awards
and Emblems. If you find a Scout who is ineligible or unfamiliar to you, please
make a note on the back of the sheet. This is also an opportunity for the Scouts
to meet with you and for you to share personally the riches of your ministry with
them.
Please sign and affix the church seal on the back of this paper. Thank you for
your time and cooperation.
