BACKGROUND
Workplaces are naturally stressful environments, and personal conflicts between coworkers can be both a cause and product of this stress. Management/Supervisors must not
allow these to intensify as it will further impair the work environment. It is imperative to
seek to understand the issue and take positive action in order to solve the problem and
make the office a place that you and your staff will want to be.
This course is aimed at helping you to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to treat
with Conflict in the workplace.
OBJECTIVES
The programme will provide a platform to achieve insights into the following:
> The effects of uncontrolled temper - The worst mistake.
> The importance of the "Opportunity to be heard'.
> How conflicts affect productivity.
> The importance of removing oneself from gossip
> The effects of judgmental language.
