artists and art lovers and
invites potential members
to attend a meeting and join.
Membership is $20 per year.

Shoppe, Robertson Mule Barn, Lee’s
Corner, the Woman’s Club House, the

Theme
‘Clayton: People,
Places, Things’
RULES OF COMPETITION
1. Media: ONLY paintings, drawings, or mixed.
No photographs, no giclee. Maximum size:
48 inches on largest side.
2. Artists do NOT have to be residents of Clayton but must be age 18 or older.
3. Entries must be ORIGINAL artwork only.
Original art is defined as one-of-a-kind
art, created by the artist’s hand and not to
include copied subjects from other artists’
work.
4. Art must not have been entered in a previous
Clayton Visual Arts competition
5. Fee $35 per entry ($25 for Clayton Visual
Arts members); 2 entries $65/$45; 3 entries
$95/$65; 3 entries per artist maximum.
6. Entry deadline: 5 pm EDT Fri., May 15, 2015
(entry form & fee in our hands).
7. Deliver art: Mon, June 1, 11 am-1 pm & 4-6
pm, to Clayton Center, 111 E. 2nd St.
8. All work must be WIRED & ready to hang –
NO EXCEPTIONS. Max. weight 35 lbs.
9. Clayton Visual Arts reserves the right to
disqualify any work whose content, in its
judgment, does not meet generally accepted
community standards of good taste.
10. Clayton Visual Arts and The Clayton Center
are not responsible for loss or damage of
artwork. Artists should insure their work if
they desire.

The $700 award includes purchase
of the artwork & purchase of all rights
to make & sell art prints to support
art programs of Clayton Visual Arts.
