DEsCrIPtIOn
This full-day annual symposium will provide a comprehensive update of treatment
approaches to the diagnosis and management of movement disorders. A broad
spectrum of disorders including Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, chorea, and
tics will be addressed. This year's program will also include a discussion of
psychogenic (functional) movement disorders. Through video case presentations,
didactic lecture, and interactive discussions with expert clinicians, this program will
present leading-edge diagnostic and management strategies to better enable
clinicians to care for movement disorder patients in 2015.
LEArnIng ObjECtIvEs
Identify the clinical presentations (abnormal movements) that characterize
• parkinsonism,
dystonia, tremor, tics, and chorea.
Recognize the “red flags” that are suggestive of a psychogenic (functional)
• movement
disorder.
Devise an appropriate management strategy for the patient with advancing
