Opening: Vice-chair Painter called the meeting to order at 2:05 P.M. in the Municipal Building
Conference Room.
Public Comment:
Terry Whitmeyer, Auditor: Chairman of the Board of Auditors, Whitmeyer, advised the Board that
the Township audit will be completed on or before the deadline.
Business:
Old Hershey Road Culvert: Roadmaster Hoerner secured three quotes for the road repair required on
Old Hershey Road at the culvert. A motion by Buckley second by Painter to award the contract to the
low bidder, Arney Brothers, if they are able to start the job within 2 weeks. If Arney is not able to start
in that timeframe, the Roadmaster will secure an additional quote from a company who can work within
the Township deadline. Roadmaster will then contact each supervisor with the three quotes. The Board
is then authorized to award project via telephone to the new contractor who is able to start within the
timeframe required. Motion carried.
Historic Acres of Hershey – UCC Appeals Board Application: The Conewago Township UCC
Appeals Board will meet April 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. to hear Historic Acres of Hershey’s application.
Township Vacancies: A motion by Painter to table all vacancy appointments, with the exception of the
Supervisor vacancy, until a third Supervisors is selected. This will allow the third Supervisor to have
input on the new appointments. Motion dies for lack of a second.
Municipal Authority Vacancy: A motion by Buckley second by Painter to appoint Painter to
Buckley’s position on the Township Municipal Authority with a term to expire in 2020. Motion carried.
DCTCC Delegate: A motion by Buckley second by Painter to appoint Painter as the delegate for the
Dauphin County Tax Collection Committee. Motion carried.
Old Hershey Road Culvert: Roadmaster Hoerner will follow up with township engineer Rettew in
regard to the height of the risers required for the manhole covers.
Park – Phase 2B – A motion by Buckley second by Painter to approve Park Phase 2B plans and instruct
Rettew to put plan out for bid. Motion carried.
Movie Night in the Park: A motion by Buckley second by Painter to approve Move Night in the Park
for Friday, September 4, 2015 with a rain date of Saturday, September 5, 2015. Motion carried. Dir.
Admin. Seesholtz will send the deposit to USA Theaters to hold the date.

Park Fertilizer Quotes: A motion by Buckley second by Painter to award fertilizer contract to
Advantage Land and Landscape Management, Inc. Director of Administration must verify that the
Township will not be charged taxes. Motion carried.
Cedar Road: Roadmaster Hoerner advised the Board of the current condition of Cedar Road.
Temporary repairs will be made until a permanent repair can be decided.
Supervisor Vacancy: This issue was tabled until the next Supervisor meeting of April 8, 2015. The
Board must appoint Brandt’s replacement by April 10, 2015.
Three Mile Island Training: TMI Training is scheduled for March 26, 2015 from 1p.m. to 3p.m.
Executive Session: The Board went into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
The Board came out of executive session and made the following motions:
Part-Time as Needed Employee Mull: A motion by Buckley second by Painter to have the Board
approve disciplinary action with regard to a Township employee. Motion carried.
A motion by Painter to adjourn at 4:02 P.M. second by Buckley. Motion carried.
