Northwest Technical Institute Sign Agreement
Partnership between the Institutions Provides Students with Increased Opportunities
BENTONVILLE, Ark. (May 6, 2015) – Representatives from NorthWest Arkansas Community
College and Northwest Technical Institute signed an agreement today (May 6) that increases
educational opportunities for area students and provides for stronger collaboration in career and
technical fields, leaders of the two institutions said.
“Today marks a milestone for Northwest Technical Institute, NorthWest Arkansas Community
College and the region,” said Dr. Evelyn E. Jorgenson, president of NWACC. “NTI and NWACC
have worked together for some time to enhance the opportunities provided to Northwest Arkansas
residents. The signing of this memorandum demonstrates that both our institutions are committed
to working together to provide the education and technical expertise that employers require in
today‟s increasingly complex work environment.”
“Northwest Technical Institute is very pleased to be a valuable partner with NorthWest Arkansas

work or going to college, but a single pathway of learning job skills, getting a career and then
proceeding to college for an advanced education.”
