Registration:
1.1
All interested participants may join by filling up a registration form at the Office of the
City Mayor-Tourism, Trade & Industry Office (552-1858), DTI-Cotabato City Office
(421-9952) beginning May 28- June 11, 2015.
1.2
Registration Fee per entry is One Hundred Pesos (P100.00). Official entries will be
considered only upon full payment of registration fee. Competition is limited to
10 contestants only.
Qualifications for Participation:
2.1
The contest is open to all Cotabato City resident – professional & amateur cooks, home
cooks and culinary students.
2.2
All registered contestants must attend the briefing on June 15, 2015, 2:00 pm at the City
Tourism, Trade & Industry Office, People’s Palace.

Venue:
3.1
The venue for the competition will be at the People’s Palace, Cotabato City at
exactly 9:00 am on June 17, 2015.
3.2
Each contestant is allowed to bring along only one (1) assistant during the competition.
Competition:
4.1
Participants should be at the contest venue one (1) hour before the competition with all
their needed cooking paraphernalia (including cooking stoves).
4.2
Participants are given 1 hour to prepare their entry.
4.3
The secretariat will provide an “open pantry” wherein the contestants can choose their
ingredients for their recipe. They will be given 15 minutes to pick what they need,
afterwhich the pantry will be closed.
4.5
Entries shall be judged based on the following points/criteria:



Taste/Aroma
40%
(palatable, delectable and flavorsome)
Originality (the “wow” factor)
40%
(unique/depicting authentic Cotabateño or Filipino-Fusion cuisine)
Presentation, Natural Colors & General Appearance
20%
(dish is displayed in an appetizing, attractive and delicious manner)

There will be three (3) major prizes to be awardedFirst Place – Cash Prize (P5,000.00) + Trophy
Second Place – Cash Prize (P3,000.00)
Third Place – Cash Prize (P2,000.00)
Non-winners shall be given Consolation Prize & Certificate of Participation
