Healthy Schools
Crampton Primary School is well on its way to securing
healthy schools bronze level status. In order to gain healthy
schools status, the school has to provide a range of evidence
to show that the children at school are on a journey towards
healthier and more active lifestyles. As part of the review, we
had to reflect on our current provision of health related
support and were pleased to say that we met most of the
criteria. Some of the areas where our provision is particularly
strong is our pastoral care through our dedicated PSHE
curriculum, a high level of sports participation both as part of
our weekly PE lessons and competition calendar and our
provision of balanced and healthy lunchtime meals. So keep
your eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks for our healthy
schools bronze award which will be displayed proudly in the
reception area.
PE Kit Reminder
Can we remind you that the school PE kit comprises of
a pair of blue shorts and white t-shirt with the Crampton
logo printed on it, both of these are available from main
reception.
In addition to this and for safety reasons, your child will
be expected to wear a pair of trainers or plimsolls
during all PE lessons.
If you are unsure of when your child’s PE lessons are,
please ask the class teacher
