This is an opportunity for students to become familiar with an above-level test in a low stakes environment. Put the testing in perspective; remind students that this test is designed for older students, and that they are not expected to know all of the answers. CTY sends each student practice materials. Remind your students to review these materials well before the test date. Assist in developing a plan for tackling the test. This will help them feel more in control during the test itself. Get plenty of rest the night before. cty.jhu.edu Visit cty.jhu.edu/talent/testing for more information Test Day Tips for Students 1. Eat a good breakfast 2. Arrive early to test center 3.
