Class of 2015 Graduates from DeLaSalle
On Thursday, May 21, 203 members of the Class of 2015 graduated from DeLaSalle at the Basilica
of Saint Mary. This year’s senior class represented the
largest graduating class in more than four decades. The day
before graduation, seniors and their families gathered for a
Baccalaureate Mass and Senior Recognition Ceremony, in
which DeLaSalle recognized graduates for their academic
and extracurricular excellence. The school also honored
students with the DeLaSalle and Islander awards, the
highest awards earned each year by De graduates. which
recognize those seniors for all-around excellence, Christian
leadership, commitment to education, dependability,
character, and service to school and community.

Final Exams
May 27-29
All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will take final exams May
27-29. Final exams are scheduled as follows:

• Students must be in uniform
for exam days.
• All students will return iPads
on Friday, May 29
• Students who have lunch or
study hall periods 1, 3, 4, 5, 6,
or 8 do not need to attend.
• If students are here for their
lunch hour, they must report to the Florance Center.
If students are here for a study hall periods 2 or 7, they
must report to their regular study hall room.
If students are here for a study hall periods 1, 3, or 8, they
must report to the Florance Center.
The DeLaSalle Cafe will serve breakfast until 8:30am. There
will be no lunch service on exam days.
Buses will run in the morning and will depart at 12:15pm
on Wednesday and Thursday and at 12:00pm on Friday.
Register Now for Camp Islander 2015
DeLaSalle is excited to offer nine camps as part of Camp
Islander 2015. Directed by DeLaSalle coaches, alumni, and
friends, these popular drama and athletic camps annually
attract hundreds of local elementary, middle, and high
school students who want to become better athletes or
actors. You may see when and which camps are offered
and register online for a camp by visiting the Camp
Islander webpage.
Spring Activity Evaluation
All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students
are required to go through the end
of the year iPad checkout process
on Friday May 29, even if they are
purchasing their iPads. iPads may be
returned after school or during 6th
period if students have lunch at that
time. Students must allow at least 30
minutes for the iPad return process.
• Students Purchasing Their Device
Students who are purchasing their device must bring
their device to the checkout process and go through the
required steps. Until this happens, their device will not
be taken out of the Mobile Device Management and still
be under DeLaSalle’s control.
• Students Not Purchasing Their Device
Students who are not purchasing their device must
turn in their school issued iPad with the school issued
iPad case, power adapter, and power/sync cable. The
iPad Return Checklist must be completed, signed by a
parent/guardian, and turned in with the iPad on Friday,
May 29. It is important to note that you will be charged
the deductible/repair cost for broken devices as well as
replacement cost for any missing items. Families who
chose the Deposit Protection Plan will be charged for all
damages to the iPad and accessories not covered under
warranty.
In summary, students should bring the following on Friday,
May 29.
• iPad in school issued iPad case
• Power Adapter
• Power/Sync Cable
• Completed and signed iPad Return Checklist
Metro Transit Offers Student Summer Pass
Metro Transit is offering a Student Summer Pass for $20 that
provides unlimited rides on buses or light rail for students
this summer. Passes are valid from 5:00am-10:00pm from
June 1-September 8. It’s perfect for
summer jobs, sports leagues and
all the other fun that summer
