What’s New in April 2015 Service Update The following sections detail all the new features and updates included in the Mozu April 2015 Service Update. Note: You receive all April 2015 Service Updates automatically; you do not need to manually update your theme to receive any changes in this update. Mozu Admin Updates See what’s new in this release for Mozu Admin. GENERAL ADMIN SETTINGS You can now disable transactional emails sent from Mozu, either when you do not want a customer to receive a specific email or when you want to use a third-party application to send your customers emails. If you are using a third party application to send an email, ensure you disable the corresponding email in Mozu to prevent duplicate emails from being sent. To turn off emails from Mozu: 1. 2. 3. 4. In Mozu Admin, select Settings>General Settings. In the Notifications section, uncheck any emails you want to disable. Click Save. Configure your third-party application to send any emails you have disabled in Mozu. DELETE USERS Users who have the Super Admin role can delete other users to prevent them from accessing your tenant. 1. 2. In Mozu Admin, select Settings>Users and Roles>Users. Select the user to delete and select Delete from the gear icon. Super Admins cannot delete themselves, but they can delete all other user roles, including other Super Admins. ORDERS The following features are new for Orders: Improved order refund workflow Search store credits and gift cards Revised order refund workflow The refund workflow has some additional features: There is a new Refund button above the Refunds grid. This button and the Refund button next to Add Payment both launch the Refund dialog box. By default, the Refund Amount now displays the Total Collected amount minus the Total Refunds/Credits already applied for that particular transaction. o Direct refunds must be equal to or less than the available refund amount. o For store credit refunds, you can override the limit by checking Allow refund amount to exceed amount collected. The Refund dialog box with a Store Credit amount that exceeds the transaction total. Note that the Total Collected amount and Total Refunded amount appear in the upper right corner of the dialog box: Search store credits and gift cards Now you can quickly access specific store credit or gift card records by searching in the Store Credit Grid. You can type search keywords into the Search bar or use one of the quick filters. To use these new filters: 1. 2. 3. 4. In Mozu Admin, select Orders. Select the Store Credit page. Click the Quick Filter icon and select the filter drop down or field you want to search by: a. Code b. Customer Search c. Customer Id d. Activate Date Range e. Expiration Date Range f. Modified By Click Filter to view the results in the Store Credit Grid. MARKETING The following features are new for Discounts: Set a fixed sale price for products and shipping Set a maximum discount value per redemption Set a fixed sale price for products and shipping Now you can set a fixed, explicit sale price for products or shipping instead of offering a dollar amount or percentage off. For example, you might offer a fixed sales price at $5.00 for all holiday decorations. Or, for customers who buy $200.00 worth of merchandise, you might offer a fixed shipping price of $30.00. Fixed price discounts only apply to line-item discounts. To create fixed price discounts: 1. 2. 3. In Mozu Admin, select Discounts. Click Create New Discount or edit an existing discount. In the General Section: a. Select LineItem for Discount Applies to. b. Select Fixed Price for Discount Type. c. Enter the dollar amount for the fixed product price or the fixed shipping price. Tips for working with fixed price discounts: You can create a fixed price discount for products, product categories, or shipping. Fixed price discounts are only in dollar amounts, not percent off. If a product’s price or shipping is less than the fixed discount price or shipping, Mozu will automatically offer the lowest price to customers. If MAP is greater than the discount price, then the discount price is hidden in the storefront and only displays in a cart/order. Any discount restrictions you create in the Product Editor also apply to fixed price discounts. You can use the Quick Search filter to filter for Fixed Price discounts in the Discount Grid. Set a maximum discount value per redemption You can now set a limit for the maximum discount value per redemption for product or shipping promotions. For line-item discounts, you can set a maximum discount value for Percentage or Fixed Price discounts. For orderlevel discounts, you can set maximum discount value for Percentage discounts. If the discounts in a customer’s cart are over the maximum allowed value you have set, Mozu caps the discount at the value you specified. For example, let’s say you have a discount where customers can buy two pairs of pants and get a belt for free. You sell multiple belts, and you do not want their free item to exceed $20.00, so you enter $20.00 in the Max Discount Value field. Now, when customers buy two pairs of pants, they can select a belt. If the belt is less than or equal to $20.00 it will be free, but if the belt is more than $20.00, a $20.00 discount will be applied to the belt. To set the maximum discount value per redemption: 1. 2. 3. In Mozu Admin, select Discounts. Click Create New Discount or edit an existing discount. In the Discount Limitations section, enter a Max Discount Value. Dev Center Updates Dev Center includes updates to theme development. THEME AND APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT Theme and Application Development receives the following update: Email notification upon theme or application certification Dev Account owners and users who have submitted a theme or application for certification will receive an email when Mozu certifies the theme or application. The email notification is sent even if you are a client or Solution Partner with auto-certification enabled. Integrations Updates Integrations receives the following updates: Application Version Labeling The application version number displays in the Tenant Application Manager grid and in the Application Details page. AVAILABLE APPLICATIONS Visit http://www.mozu.com/ecommerce-app-center to learn more about applications available for integration with Mozu. Visit http://developer.mozu.com/tools to find links to the Mozu In-Store Sales Assistant and the Mystic Sports storefront. In-Store Sales Assistant App: An extension of the Mozu platform giving sales associates immediate access to product, customer and order data. It was designed to help sales associates be more responsive to consumer needs. Mystic Sports: A Mozu storefront complete with products and customer data designed with current best practices. Use these storefront example to learn more about the Mozu platform.
