help of the PLC 12500D Plastic Card Labeler, they
can do just that. This state-of-the-art pressure
labeling system is a workhorse for companies in
the Smart Card, Credit Card, Debit Card, Gift
Card, Hotel Key Tag Card, Telephone Card, and
Health Care Card industries.
By having their own labelers, service bureaus and
other non-service bureau facilities have the option
to affix variable messages to their cards in the
form of labels for their plastic card programs with
the PLC 12500D. These labels provide the perfect
vehicle to deliver important card activation
and/or usage information or instructions to the
end user of the card.
Card activation labels are the universal solution to
prevent fraud. DCS works closely with Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and
other card issuers to produce these important
pressure-sensitive cleanly-removable labels.
The new PLC 12500D has been designed to be
more flexible in order to affix different types and
sizes of labels to your cards. One of these label
types is a scratch-off. Scratch-off labels are manufactured with permanent adhesive and can be
affixed to specific card locations to conceal critical
card information such as a PIN or card activation
code.
The PLC 12500D is an inexpensive and affordable
piece of equipment that provides labeling options
typically only seen in much more expensive pieces
of equipment of this type.
The PLC 12500D requires minimal maintenance
and can be run efficiently with just one person
operating the machine. The machine is so user
friendly that minor adjustments or repairs can be
performed by the operator. It has been designed
to accurately affix a variety of labels on all kinds of
CR80 cards.

The PLC 12500D also features a digital LED card
counter to ensure audit reconciliation of all cards
that have been labeled. The conveyor/stacker
system keeps your labeled cards in sequential
order. If the flow of labeled cards on the conveyor
is interrupted, the PLC 12500D automatically
stops to prevent cards from falling off onto the
floor. Thanks to its portability and ultra-quiet
operation, the unit can be moved, set up and used
virtually anywhere within your production
environment.
