Business by Charles Duhigg. (available chapters or the library) This book talks about how habits are formed and also
how to kick bad ones and hang on to the ones that are good! Newcomers welcome. Contact the office for more info.

Deer Ridge Kids After School Program Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 – 6:00 - Free afterschool program for
children ages 6 – 12. Participate in fun games, crafts and activities; all led by City of Calgary Recreation Leaders.

Deer Park Youth Drop In Friday, 7:00 to 9:00 - All youth, Junior and Senior High, are invited to meet with Lindsay and
Joshua for food, games and activities. On the Fridays when Naked Faith occurs, the Deer Park Youth Drop In attends
Naked Faith.
Naked Faith Fridays as arranged 6:00 to 9:00 Monthly regional youth service which starts with supper, followed by
worship and then more fun. Alternates between Deer Park and Wild Rose United Church, 1317 1 St NW .
On the Fridays when Naked Faith occurs, the Deer Park Youth Drop In attends Naked Faith.
Aboriginal Traditions Jessica McMann – Hoop Dancer and Boys and Girls Club Advocate will be here providing a four
session Hoop Dancing Workshop for members of the public and all congregants interested in accessing a moving

Spiritual Practice that harkens back to the native peoples of the west. First Session is May 3 , Sunday afternoon and

Wing & A Prayer 2nd Tuesday, 7:00 to 9:00pm Come on out for some wings at Brass Monkey Pub (formerly Denim
Suburban Lounge) in Queensland. Enjoy an informal evening where you can catch up with each other or get to know the
people you see on Sunday morning a little better. We are in a back room so ask for the church group at the bar.

Gathering of Men 3 Wednesday, 11:45 – 1:30. All men are welcome to meet at the Winking Owl for lunch, discussion
and solving of world problems.
Deer Park Seniors Wednesday, 11:30 – 1:30. All those over 55 are welcome to join us for worship, potluck lunch and an
